Quality Assessment Procedure |
|
| |
The Quality Control Program consists
of the following levels: |
|
| |
|
|
|
| |
1. |
100% Listen Review |
|
| |
|
This level is used for employees of ISPL
to an assigned account, or to an assigned report type. Content of
all reports is reviewed with the actual voice recording. |
|
| |
|
|
|
| |
2. |
100% Compare Review with Listen Overlay |
|
| |
|
This level is used for employees who
are near quality goals. All reports transcribed are compared-reviewed
with questionable content areas reviewed with the actual voice recording. |
|
| |
|
|
|
| |
3. |
Random Quality Review |
|
| |
|
Every employee has an ongoing random
quality review. |
|
| |
|
| |
The Medical Language Specialists
(MLS) monthly production is reviewed and checked against the
soft copy of the reports with the voice recording. Errors are
then marked on the soft copy according to ISPL Quality Control
Criteria. |
| |
Quality reports are submitted to
the QA Manager each month for evaluation. |
| |
The Monthly Quality Review Form
is used to document the errors and calculate the percentage
of accuracy. |
| |
An ISPL quality standard is 99%
accuracy. Each transcriptionist is expected to reach a Minimum
average accuracy of 94%. |
| |
Transcriptionists who achieve an
average quality rating of 95% or above for three consecutive
months are eligible for being a Proofer. |
| |
Proofers who achieve an average
quality rating of 98% or above for three consecutive months
are eligible for a being an Editor. |
